Nestled in the southwestern region of the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles County, Woodland Hills, California offers a unique blend of suburban tranquility and urban convenience. Known for its tree-lined streets, upscale neighborhoods, and scenic beauty, Woodland Hills is a sought-after community for families, professionals, and outdoor enthusiasts.

Woodland Hills’ roots trace back to the Native American Tongva people, who first inhabited the land. In the late 18th century, the area became part of the Mission San Fernando Rey de España under Spanish rule. Following Mexican independence, the land was part of Rancho El Escorpión before transitioning to American control.

In the 1920s, the area was purchased by Victor Girard Kleinberger, who began developing the region into what would become Woodland Hills. Girard planted thousands of trees, including eucalyptus and pepper trees, giving the community its lush, green identity. Officially named Woodland Hills in 1945, the neighborhood steadily grew into a suburban haven while maintaining a connection to its natural roots.
