Thousand Oaks Rotary Street Fair: A Celebration of Community and Service
On Sunday, October 19, 2025, the heart of Thousand Oaks will once again be alive with vibrant energy as the Rotary Club of Thousand Oaks hosts its annual rotary street fair. This beloved event has become a cornerstone of the Thousand Oaks community, offering a day filled with excitement, connection, and tradition.
A Tradition of Giving and Community Support
For over three decades, the Thousand Oaks Rotary Street Fair has stood as the largest event of its kind in the area, offering not just entertainment, but an opportunity to give back. What sets this event apart is its philanthropic mission—100% of the net proceeds raised go directly to benefit local charities and causes. Over the years, these proceeds have touched countless lives, helping those who have faced life-altering challenges. This commitment to community service has made the Street Fair a symbol of hope, resilience, and generosity in Thousand Oaks.
The event is an opportunity for families, friends, and neighbors to come together to celebrate the best of Thousand Oaks: its spirit of unity, the kindness of its residents, and the importance of supporting one another.
What to Expect at the Thousand Oaks Street Fair
This year's fair promises to deliver a fun-filled day for attendees of all ages, featuring a range of activities, food, and entertainment. Here are some highlights:
Live Entertainment: Local musicians, performers, and entertainers will take the stage throughout the day, providing a lively soundtrack for the event. Whether you enjoy upbeat music or are looking to discover new local talent, there will be plenty to see and hear.
300+ Vendors: With over 300 vendors, the Street Fair offers a unique shopping experience. Stroll down Moorpark Road and browse the wide selection of crafts, handmade goods, apparel, jewelry, home décor, and more. It’s a perfect chance to support small businesses, find one-of-a-kind items, and get a head start on your holiday shopping.
Family Fun: For families with children, the fair is a must-attend event. There will be plenty of rides, games, and activities for kids of all ages. The excitement of these attractions will keep children entertained all day long. While admission is free, donations are always appreciated and go a long way in supporting the event’s charitable initiatives.
Food Trucks and Vendors: A wide variety of food options will be available, thanks to an array of food trucks and local vendors. Whether you’re craving gourmet street food, delicious desserts, or a refreshing beverage, there will be something for everyone.
Meet the Heroes of Our Community: The Street Fair also offers an incredible opportunity to meet some of Thousand Oaks' real-life superheroes—members of the Thousand Oaks Police Department, the Ventura County Fire Department, and other first responders and medical professionals. These community heroes will be present to engage with the public, offering insights into their important work and allowing fairgoers to show their appreciation.
Parking Information for T.O. Street Fair
Parking is always a concern at large events, but attendees of the Street Fair are in luck. Thanks to the support of the Janss Marketplace, free parking will be available in the Janss Mall parking lot, conveniently located right across from the fair. This makes it easy for visitors to enjoy the event without worrying about where to leave their vehicles.
