About LA Guns
LA Guns was formed in 1983, rising to prominence during the explosive hard rock and glam metal scene of the late 1980s. Featuring a lineup that originally included guitarist Tracii Guns and vocalist Phil Lewis, the band carved its niche with a unique blend of heavy metal riffs and sleazy, blues-infused rock. Their breakthrough came with the release of their self-titled debut album in 1988, which featured hits like "Sex Action" and "One More Reason."
In 1989, LA Guns solidified their place in rock history with their sophomore album, *Cocked & Loaded*, which spawned the smash hit "The Ballad of Jayne." This track showcased their versatility, combining raw energy with heartfelt balladry, and remains one of the genre's most beloved anthems.
Over the decades, LA Guns has experienced lineup changes and periods of reinvention, but their core sound and commitment to delivering high-energy performances remain unwavering. Today, with founding members Tracii Guns and Phil Lewis reunited, the band continues to release critically acclaimed albums and tour the world, thrilling old and new fans alike.
